Many doctors out there today believe in more traditional drugs although there are more doctors being open-minded and a growing number who believe in alternative medicine. Doctors are educated in universities most of which are funded by pharmaceutical companies. Pharmaceutical companies also have salesmen visit the doctor’s offices to tell them about the newest drugs offering all their latest perks to the doctors for prescribing their jobs. Product that contain natural ingredients cannot be patented and therefore did not bring enough money for pharmaceutical companies. We have to remember that drug companies make their money on patented synthetic products that can sometimes come with terrible side effects.
